- Designed a hall sensor array PCB for magnetic position sensing in a surgical robot end effector. Selected hall sensors and I2C-compatible ADC based on system and board-to-board communication requirements. Designed circuit in Altium and completed technical documentation for knowledge transfer.- Utilized TI’s Magnetic Sense Simulator (TIMSS) to collect proof-of-concept hall sensor waveforms and verify position-sensing capabilities of the circuit. Confirmed simulation results via benchtop testing of a hall sensor evaluation module with real magnets. - Ordered components for other PCB prototypes and soldered them onto the PCB for benchtop testing. Helped in assembling prototype circuits for other engineers, including a battery current monitoring circuit.
