Jerry York has 45 years of electronic experience. The last 27 years of experience in electronics has been in the Oil and Gas Service Industry. Jerry York started his career in the Oil and Gas industry January of 1990 with The Western Company of N.A. (WCNA) in Fort Worth as an Electronic Technician. In January of 1991, Mr. York accepted the position of Senior Electronic Technician with WCNA in The Woodlands, Texas. He was responsible for training, repairs, calibrations, manufacturing and testing the Instrumentation and continued with the company after the merger with BJ Services in 1995. In 1998 Mr. York accepted the position of Instrumentation Quality Specialist. This involved training of third party venders and new manufacturing employees in the instrumentation assembly and testing to ensure quality final product. During the timeframe of 1998 to 2004, Mr. York wrote and published over 250 test procedures for the various instrumentation that the company utilized in the field. In the fall of 2004, Mr. York accepted the position of Instrumentation Trainer for BJ Services. He was responsible for training all of the electronic technicians domestic and international. Mr. York has traveled extensively for training to ensure quality and reliability of the instrumentation. This continued through the buyout of BJ Services of Baker Hughes Inc. and the positions held of Senior RDD Technologist V and as the Southern Geo Instrumentation Manager until April of 2014.
