This included analysis of existing design flaws, research of presented requirements, and working with product management to understand customer needs while formulating plans for re-architecting the application. Created in ASP.NET, C#.NET, AJAX, and SQL Server.Increased full-text search results speed 30% by optimizing hit-highlighting algorithm while reducing the code base by over 20%. Using C#.NET and the 3.5 framework, gathering the results from Novus Search and storing them in SQL Server 2008.Created easy-to-use GUI allowing non-technical users the ability to full-text index any of the over 5,000 fields in the database, in addition to the original 10 hard-coded data-types.
