My degrees in Chemical Engineering prepared me for a career of finding practical solutions to a wide variety of challenges. Success in my early years as an engineer quickly led to my assignment to manage the operating and maintenance budget of the largest ammonia production plant in the US. Soon after, I took advantage of an overseas job opportunity with Saudi Aramco. After re-starting my career there, I was able to advance into the company-wide Engineering Department.During my career I have held the following job positions• Process Engineer• Startup Engineer• Assistant Operations Superintendent• Engineering Supervisor• Project Engineer• Project Manager• Instrument Engineer• Control Systems Engineer• Engineering Specialist• Engineering ConsultantI have made extensive use of Excel / VBA and SQL throughout my career to find errors in contractor designs, monitor construction completions, report KPIs and many other uses. I have needed to obtain, clean and transform data during all of my assignments. In 2017 I returned to the US to help my wife take care of her ailing mother who lived alone in Kentucky. After she passed away, we assisted with the settlement, refurbished her house, sold it, then moved to Fairview, TX. During this time, I have been self-employed and have missed the vibrant, active workplace environment. Since I have always had a keen interest in data analytics, I have also used this time to improve my skills in this area, especially Power BI, R, Python and Tableau.
