In my role, I oversee True Value Retailer Customers and drive business development across Asia, Caribbean, South America and Australia markets. My focus is on cultivating strong relationships with key executives within Retail costumer accounts to foster robust business partnerships.Key Responsibilities and Achievements:Relationship Management: Establish and nurture key executive contacts within retailer accounts to build and sustain strong business relationships, enhancing collaboration and driving mutual growth.Profitability and Growth: Strategically increase profitability and business growth by maximizing member purchases through identifying sales opportunities and implementing initiatives to encourage higher engagement.Merchandise Opportunities: Identify and convert merchandise opportunities from outside suppliers and vendors not currently billed through True Value, broadening product offerings available to retailers and increasing their participation.Product Range Expansion: Identify and extend product range opportunities for category lines not yet purchased through the cooperative by researching market trends, understanding retailer needs, and sourcing new products.Market and Competitive Analysis: Facilitate the identification of open markets and key competitive prospects through thorough market research and competitive analysis to pinpoint potential areas for expansion.Database Management and Strategy Development: Maintain a comprehensive competitive target database to develop strategies for signing new retailers that meet True Value Co. requirements, involving continuous monitoring and updating of market data and crafting tailored approaches to attract and retain new customers.Through these efforts, I ensure True Value maintains a competitive edge in diverse global markets, driving growth and delivering value to our customers.
