• Helping lead the development of a new multistory state-of-the-art gene therapy manufacturing center and developing an OT strategy at the current manufacturing site, which incorporates LAB security which will be used to vet current designs and help drive the OT design at the new building. Network design focuses on security using the Purdue model design principles, network availability and performance, and ease of administration.• Led the transition in changing service providers for all aspects of support of LAN, WAN, WLAN, and telephone systems along with helping migrate to an inhouse monitoring system which included all device monitoring, SLAs, device level backups, and Netflow configurations. • Pushed out changes that standardized configurations on networking devices including centralized authentication and administration of network devices, updated naming standards, and the deployment of an updated IP scheme for all buildings.• Managed a firewall migration and SD-WAN implementation utilizing in house resources which cut down on the need for external consultants, saving project costs. Replaced the datacenter’s primary Fortinet Firewalls with new hardware, and implemented HA FortiGate firewalls at each branch location, including cloud services to replace older Meraki MX devices.

Hired to lead all aspects of IT infrastructure in the acquisition of facilities in Mississauga. Our directive was to stand up a cloud first green field new company to run the facilities, as no software was part of the transition, within aggressive timelines of just over one year. As streams moved from implementation into production and new employees were onboarded, my role and responsibilities evolved to a senior support engineer, helping tune, assist with application turnups and troubleshoot any issues that arose.
