Jerry Crylen is an accomplished leader known for formulating, structuring, and operationalizing strategies to maximize property portfolio and asset management performance through proven experience across real estate markets and creative value-add strategies, including leasing, acquisition, and disposition of assets throughout the life cycle. As the EVP, Jerry guides Green Street’s strategic investments, structuring, and underwriting on significant development projects. During his tenure, he helped scale the firm from 12 to 95 employees, $250M to $1B in net assets, generating a future project pipeline valued at 1-1.2B while elevating processes and enhancing its vertically integrated positioning through a rollup of three acquisitions. Beforehand, he oversaw portfolio assets and development at Cortex Innovation Center and the Danforth Plant Science Center. Jerry’s real estate practice experience extends internationally, including partner and executive management positions at CA Ventures, Equity International Properties, and The John Buck Company. With innate curiosity, he started his career in research and database management, consolidating data to inform Fortune 100 clients about market dynamics. As a values-driven leader with a strong moral compass, Jerry built his career on integrity, hard work, and community. He prioritizes relationships with business stakeholders and market leaders throughout the industry, including brokers, operators, developers, and investors.
