I am a CPA/MBA with 30 years of professional experience. I have strong accounting skills with extensive experience with US GAAP and exposure to IFRS. I have knowledge of finance and economics as well through my work history as well as my graduate and undergraduate studies.The majority of my career has been in the financial services industry - banking, mortgage, insurance and mutual funds. I also have public accounting experience (PWC) and non-profit experience.Most recently I was SVP/Corporate Controller for Titanium Holdings (THI) and its four subsidiaries. In this position I reported directly to the CEO and had complete accounting/finance responsibility. Prior to Titanium, I was the Director of Mortgage Accounting for TIAA-CREF. I managed a team of accountants providing accounting and reporting services for a $20 billion commercial mortgage portfolio. For eight years prior to TIAA-CREF, I was the VP/Controller of two mortgage divisions of HSBC. In these roles, I managed a large staff providing a variety of services for two seperate operating companies - Decision One Mortgage, LLC and HSBC Mortgage Services. Decision One was a wholesale mortgage lender in the residential market. At its peak Decision One originated and sold $17 billion in 1st and 2nd mortgage loans per year.
