I am updating this profile on 08.25.2023. Hello my name is Jerry Dutton and I am a Senior Electrical Estimator and a PMI certified Project Management Professional. I currently work at Goss Electric, Inc., one of the largest Electrical Contractors in North Alabama. I have over 30 years of field & office experience: (15+) years in electrical estimation and project management and the other (10+) years is field experience in electrical construction and maintenance. I also have a few years (from my younger days) of mechanical construction experience, which I find extremely useful to this day. I have been everything from a "green" helper to a Project Superintendent. I have worked for several electrical contractors throughout the years and but I have been with Goss Electric, Inc. approaching 20 years now. I have estimated and managed electrical projects anywhere from a few thousand dollars to over $12Million. I have quoted all bids types (Lump Sum, GMP, T&M, & more) as well as been the lead on large design build projects. I have extensive experience using Trimble Accubid, Change Order Pro, Computer-Ease. I am certified in Primavera P6 Scheduling software. I also use Trimble Project Sight, Autodesk Build, Plan Grid and more. I also have over 20 years of working on a professional office setting using the typical Office software like Word, Outlook, Excel & more all on a daily basis.
