Our equity crowdfunding portal provides access to funding for faith-driven entrepreneurs, business and startups. My role is to develop ecosystem that brings entrepreneurs, business owners, investors and churches together.Equity crowdfunding is a new and evolving method for individuals and companies looking to raise capital using the internet. Companies and individuals employing crowdfunding are usually looking to raise smaller amounts of capital from a larger group of investors. This is contrary to traditional model where small companies focus on a single financier to provide “seed” or “start-up capital.”EquityVest, LLC (“EquityVest”) is wholly-owned by Significant Matters, Inc., a registered 501c3 non-profit organization, whose mission is to advance sustainable solutions to material poverty through the faith-driven community. We seek to support companies and entrepreneurs who believe that capitalism combined with faith and Christian virtues can generate lasting economic, social, environmental and spiritual benefits and act as a tempering agent against selfishness and greed. We believe such an approach advances social justice and inclusion that lifts individuals and whole communities out of material poverty.

Impact Advisors partners with nonprofits and social enterprises to develop and expand their impact. It accomplishes this through a fractional, interim or project engagements that 1. shore up the traditional core business competencies needed to assure healthy nonprofits, and 2. consider enhancements to the current delivery model. Areas of engagement typically include communications and content creation (narratives, storytelling, report writing, donor communications, board communications), development strategies (capital campaigns, annual funds), project management (IT projects, capacity building), general consulting (organizational health, strategic planning) and intrapreneurship (developing channels to monetize nonprofit intellectual property). In addition to the above, Impact Advisors also provides financial support services such as 990 assistance, audit preparation and budgeting. We have provided project oversight for IT and CRM implementations (Raisers Edge, Salesforce, Microsoft Teams, Google). We have also acted as project managers on facilities expansion and construction projects.We have worked with nonprofits in faith based organizations, education, healthcare, child sponsorship and many other areas of nonprofit impact. One of our current projects (2022) is doing a raise for an equity based crowdfunding site. We recently completed an IT strategic plan for a global nonprofit in the education space.

Breakthrough (formerly Defy Colorado) works with currently incarcerated individuals on business plans and post-release career development. These individuals - we call them Entrepreneurs In Training (EIT's) - complete a year long process of developing their business for launch once their time behind bars has ended. The process includes branding, marketing, financial feasibility and all the rest, culminating in a pitch competition at the end of each year. My role is to help in mentoring the EIT's through all phases of the process.

10.10.10 seeks out serial entrepreneurs that have exited and are looking for their next opportunity. We invite them to leverage their skills in addressing society's "wicked problems" of healthcare, water quality and more. We vet 10 entrepreneurs and invite them to Denver for 10 days of product design and development, supported by expertise supplied by industry leaders, academics and government officials. I have served in two cohorts as a Ninja Researcher - helping with idea validation, design and product development.

The Global Leadership Summit is an annual Leadership Development event that reaches 125,000 people in the US and another 300,000 internationally. It pulls together leaders from politics, business, education, ministry and entertainment to discuss best practices in leadership. My role has been to influence local attendance for the event. Our venue attracted between 900 – 1,000 attenders annually.

Their team of 50 developers provides customized IT solutions for businesses and nonprofits globally from their site in India. This position focuses on opening new opportunities in startup and nonprofit verticals.

CIM is a nonprofit operating foundation that supports the information technology needs of nonprofit organizations. As a Microsoft Silver Cloud Partner, CIM partners with dozens of local and global nonprofits on IT best practices. CIM's core value proposition is focused on Strategy (how does IT best support an organization's mission), Service (how can CIM best support the IT environment) and Stewardship (how can CIM help maximize value within limited IT budgets. The VP position focuses on business development, strategic IT planning & implementation for clients, cloud solutions, organizational health and staff development. In the role, I met routinely with nonprofit C-Suite executives to discuss how IT could best help them maximize impact. In addition to producing strategic plans for multiple organizations, the position reported routinely to our board of directors on matters of finance and organizational health. I briefly served as interim CEO while our founder was on a sabbatical.Through the combined effort of our team, we were fortunate enough to double the size of the organization during my time in this role. Strategic recruitment, website refreshes, social media presence and community engagement all contributed to a historic level of growth that impacted tens of thousands of beneficiaries across several nonprofit domains.

Xavient provides full cycle IT services from business analysis and conceptual design to integration and ongoing support services. The Engagement Coordinator is a client facing position that manages all aspects of the engagement at an $18 million annual telecom engagement.

New Life is a local church of about 1,000 people in Aurora, CO. The role focused on a $2.9 million capital campaign designed to increase capacity and build out facilities. In this role I led the communications strategy and provided project management for the construction effort.In addition to the capital campaign, I oversaw the annual fund, directed the annual audit and was responsible for the business operations of the church.

Bought, grew and sold a residential window cleaning company. Tripled revenues & leveraged my position to serve in several volunteer opportunities, including local church leadership.
