I am the COO at EquityVest - a FINRA approved platform available to entrepreneurs and small businesses seeking capital to launch or expand their businesses. We know that access to capital is the largest frustration and the number one barrier facing entrepreneurs and small businesses. We exist to provide an option in raising capital via regulation crowdfunding.EquityVest is wholly owned by a nonprofit organization seeking to spark entrepreneurship, especially among faith-driven founders. We believe entrepreneurs and small businesses should be celebrated and supported in their role of job creation, wealth creation and poverty alleviation. As COO, I'm leveraging my 20+ years of nonprofit and business experience to help organizations gain access to the funding they need to create jobs and opportunities. In my down time, I'm usually hiking and biking any trail I can find here in Colorado. Married to Lisa, dad to Weston & Aubrey.

CooEquityvest, Llc Jan 2023 - PresentOur equity crowdfunding portal provides access to funding for faith-driven entrepreneurs, business and startups. My role is to develop ecosystem that brings entrepreneurs, business owners, investors and churches together.Equity crowdfunding is a new and evolving method for individuals and companies looking to raise capital using the internet. Companies and individuals employing crowdfunding are usually looking to raise smaller amounts of capital from a larger group of investors. This is contrary to traditional model where small companies focus on a single financier to provide “seed” or “start-up capital.”EquityVest, LLC (“EquityVest”) is wholly-owned by Significant Matters, Inc., a registered 501c3 non-profit organization, whose mission is to advance sustainable solutions to material poverty through the faith-driven community. We seek to support companies and entrepreneurs who believe that capitalism combined with faith and Christian virtues can generate lasting economic, social, environmental and spiritual benefits and act as a tempering agent against selfishness and greed. We believe such an approach advances social justice and inclusion that lifts individuals and whole communities out of material poverty. -

In addition to the above, Impact Advisors also provides financial support services such as 990 assistance, audit preparation and budgeting. We have provided project oversight for IT and CRM implementations (Raisers Edge, Salesforce, Microsoft Teams, Google). We have also acted as project managers on facilities expansion and construction projects. We have worked with nonprofits in faith based organizations, education, healthcare, child sponsorship and many other areas of nonprofit impact.
