I am a CFO with over 20 years of financial leadership experience within leading-edge start-up and emerging-growth companies including technology, wireless internet, telecommunications, SaaS, digital media, cybersecurity, health and wellness, professional service, CleanTech and retail. I have a successful track record of leading and assisting early-stage, public and private companies with financial management, strategy, capital raising and implementation of financial and operational infrastructure necessary for rapid growth and exit. I am currently the CFO of Ossia, a company that is leading the world on what is possible with wireless power. Ossia’s flagship Cota® technology redefines wireless power by safely delivering remote, targeted energy to devices at a distance. Ossia’s Cota technology is a patented smart antenna technology that automatically keeps multiple devices charged without any user intervention and enables an efficient and truly wire-free, powered-up world that is always on and always connected. Prior to joining Ossia I was CFO at various other startup and emerging-growth companies including Upgrade Labs, a next generation Health and Wellness company, operating the world’s first biohacking facilities and using science and cutting-edge technology to enable members’ bodies to function better and more efficiently and improve their health at the cellular level, Changepoint, a leading Enterprise Portfolio Management provider, IOActive, a worldwide leader in research-fueled security services for Global 1000 enterprises across all industries, Tippr, whose patented white-label platform and services solution provided publishers with technology and an extensive network necessary to power group buying services, Avalara, a leading provider of cloud-based tax compliance automation for businesses of all sizes helping to manage complicated and burdensome tax compliance obligations imposed by state, local and other taxing authorities throughout the world, Imperium Renewables, a global leader in next-generation biofuel production and Loudeye, a pioneer in digital media production, distribution, and applications. I was also the VP Finance at Clearwire, an international wireless high-speed Internet service provider. I began my career at the public accounting firm of Deloitte. I am a CPA-inactive certificate holder in the state of Washington and I received a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with honors from Seattle University. I am a member of the Washington State Society of CPAs and the American Institute of CPAs.
