In my current role, I am leading the creation of a Leadership Development Program for GECU. My responsibilities include: Consulting with business leaders to identify the leadership behaviors required to help GECU achieve its organizational goals; creating a leadership competency model to guide the implementation of learning strategies; contracting for, designing, and conducting learning programs to build leadership skills; identifying and implementing resources and activities to sustain the application of learning in the workplace; initiating and leading a project to incorporate organizational core values into a broad talent management framework; and initiating and designing an effort to create a culture of individual development throughout GECU.

Responsible for developing programs and resources to enhance bank associates' skills in leadership, team development, and interpersonal interaction. Consulted with internal clients to identify key competencies required to satisfy current and future business needs. Designed and conducted needs analysis surveys and interviews to identify gaps in competency development. Designed and facilitated learning programs on a wide variety of leadership and interpersonal-skills topics. Conducted team-building sessions based on DiSC and other behavioral models to build associates’ effectiveness in working with customers and team members. Created modules for an internal website to implement a continuous-learning approach to developing leadership skills of emerging leaders. Wrote blog articles and designed video animations that succinctly conveyed quick bites of learning. Designed and facilitated virtual “Learning Cafes” as a follow-up to classroom sessions and eLearnings.

Organization Development & Organization Effectiveness Consulting:Consulted with managers and individual contributors to analyze and remedy performance gaps at the organizational and individual levels. Conducted data-gathering and feedback with client groups and worked with clients to implement actions to address performance needs. Conducted change management projects for client groups. Developed talent management systems and processes with Human Resources partners. Conducted 360 feedback sessions with managers.Performance Consulting, Training Program Management, Instructional Design & Delivery:Designed, conducted, sourced, and managed training programs on wide variety of leadership and business-skills topics, including coaching, motivating, influencing, intercultural awareness, conflict management, team leadership, change management, time management, requirements development, project management, and innovation.
