Dr Jerry Ng Kok Loon has over 30 years of experience in Marine Technology since the 1980's. He has invented 9 patents and contributed over 70 publications professionally. One of his significant invention is the emulsified fuel system (EFS) which has been installed in more than 20 vessels. The installed EFS helped the vessels to save fuel and reduced emissions. Dr Jerry Ng is the first to prove that the benefits of emulsified fuel are due to the better heat release rate of the micro-explosion effect of microscopic water-in-fuel droplets.Dr Jerry Ng KL is currently working on a disruptive ballast water management system to protect coastal oceans from foreign invasive species.
