Dr. Marks has moved into private practice full time after leaving Catholic Family Services in the spring of 2010. He is accepting new patients in the office in St. Peters at 636-939-2550. He is available for consultation and supervision for non-profit organziations and for soical work students who have a strong desire to learn about the delivery of pschotherapy. Jerry has been in private practice since returning from active duty during Dessert Storm in the fall of 1991 but did not incorporate for several years. During these years, Dr. Marks has delivered therapy services to children, adolescents and families as part of Mid-County Physicians (Jan. 1991 - October 2009) and in association with Saaid Khojestah M.D. and Associates (June 1996 - present) now Advent Medical Group.

Administration and management of a $2.3 Million social service organization that offers therapy, psychiatric care, services to Non-custodial Fathers, and over 30 languages for translation and interpretation in the greater St. Louis area. The position reports to the Board of Directors and is repsonsible for the development, fund raising, and strategic planning of the oeprations of the Agency. In 2008, Dr. Marks helped to raise the awareness of the needs of children in St. Louis County resulting in the passage of a one fourth cent sales tax that will generate $40 Million annually for children ages 19 and under in St. Louis County. He helped to organize a Coalition of 40 Agencies that worked together to collect 58,000 signaures and passed the "Putting Kids First" Campaign with 62% of the vote in November 2008. There are 150,000 children in St. Louis County, the largest number of children 19 and younger in the State of Missouri, who will be able to receive services as a result of this initiative. We are in the process of using our next Stragegic Planning process to complete the installation of the balance scorecard system and begin the journey toward becoming a high performing non-profit organization that can track, code and document the positive outcomes of the dollars that have been invested by donors.I was the Clinical Director for the first year that I was employed by Catholic Family Services (August of 1999 to June 1999) and moved to the Executive Director position the following July.

Represented three companies for EAP sales and service to two Divisions of the Emerson Corporation and Bethlemham Steel along 30 other smaller accounts in the St. Louis Area. The St. Louis Area EAP was sold first to American HelathCare Partners in Houston, TX; then to Plan 21 and finally to EAP International in Denve, CO. The expectations were that of prospecting, selling, closing and developing provider networks in the areas where new accounts were opened. If a crisis occured, I was expected to resolve the situation with the employer and/or employee or their family members. After I left most of the accounts were bought by United Health Care and managed internally by United Behavioral Health. I left the company to accept a psotion with Catholic Family Services as the Clinical Director from August of 1999 to June of 2000 when the past Executive Director retired.
