Between the 08' GFC and Covid there really hasn’t been a ‘normal’ since I started, I believe the primary reason we have thrived is the willingness to put all options on the table and be as creative as needed to achieve what the client was seeking, regardless of how difficult. This is the philosophical approach that has been responsible for finding ways to consummate over 1B+ worth of industrial transactions, for a very diverse client base with facilities in four western states and Canada. 82 transation in 2022 alone. During this period we have performed a large percentage of the large distribution center leases/sales in the region, moving companies both around and into Oregon & SW Washington. Examples include the two largest leases in Oregon history with Amazon (1M sq feet in both Salem & Rivergate), relocating KeHe from Clackamas into a new 383,000 sq ft building in Portland, developing Portland Meadows Raceway and performing built to suits to expand OnTrac and Bunzl into new 162,000 sq feet and 190,000 sq feet spaces within the region. In addition, we have helped many local companies buy and sell their local headquarters during this time which includes marketing and successfully selling both the former GI Joe’s (300,000 sq feet) and the Cessna Aircraft plant (210,000 sq feet) in Bend, to high density employers to help back fill the major job losses in Oregon during the recession. Most recently we have broken ground on the largest speculative industrial building in Oregon/SW Washington history.
