I have been a professional Systems Manager for over 30 years. I have built, moved, outsourced, insourced, decommissioned and continuously managed Systems, Networks and Data Centers for all those years.For my entire career, I have focused on supporting both the software development and the production deployment of the product across diverse environments. I help manage and support the entire life cycle of the software product; both, in-house and as a client facing resource.Over the past two years I have been directing our company's Cloud expansion: developing network and security processes to create a hybrid solution which includes traditional hypervisors (e.g. VMware, KVM, etc.) integrated with AWS and Azure; developing compliance models for DevOps; and supporting cost consolidations across the estate. In the past year, I have started the adoption of SD-WAN technologies to replace our legacy networks. This will allow an even deeper integration with our hybrid cloud solutions as well as achieve immediate and significant opex savings.Most recently, I have been tasked with transforming our internal information technology group into a first class global 24x7 Customer Service team.Currently, I manage a group of about 60+ team members in 40 offices in over 30 countries.
