After serving in the U.S. Navy and then in the Marines as a hospital corpsman, I went on to work as a respiratory therapist in teaching hospitals while attending college and then law school. I graduated from the University of Pittsburgh in 1971 and received my J.D. from the University of Miami in 1975. Since being admitted to the Bar in 1975, I have been practicing law in Pennsylvania primarily in the areas of medical malpractice and wrongful death. I have spent a great deal of time in the areas of birth injury, and cancer misdiagnosis with an emphasis on cervical cancer. In 2004 I founded the law firm Meyers Evans & Associates.
