I’m responsible for creating and executing upon a strategy to maximize the ServiceNow platform investments at BCBSLA. We have a large and expanding ServiceNow footprint that includes ITSM, ITOM, SPM, APM, EC, CSM, and SecOps. In alignment with our strategic roadmap, I find opportunities for ServiceNow to expand and maximize benefits to BCBSLA. My team’s focus starts with customer experience and how we best serve the needs of our business as we face the challenges of a modern health insurance company. Cloud native, workflow platforms such as ServiceNow have a critical part to play in how we improve the health and lives of Louisianians at BCBSLA. I saw this clearly from my role in Enterprise Architecture and stepped in to this opportunity where I feel my team can truly make a difference in short and long term goals of the company. Developing guidance to securely adopt Power Platform, D365 CX and other PaaS services to build BCBSLA business applications. • Enterprise Application Architect on the ServiceNow Release Program’s activities as we strive to realize maximum value from our ServiceNow investments.• Quickly research, understand and develop guidance for leaders around a wide variety of possible capability investments. Ex: Automation & Orchestration, O365, GRC, TFS, Lifecycle Management, ERP, Java, Custom Application Development Tools, ServiceNow, TMS, Actuarial and Workflow tools.

Leveraging my extensive experience in successful software development projects, I managed a product owners group responsible for delivering new business innovations through custom software development. Much of my time was spent directing and advising business minded people on the best way to deliver value by managing their software development teams. I worked heavily in the product initiation phase establishing value-add to the business and determining whether or not a new product should be developed or if alternatives exist that will fulfill the need. I managed products from inception through deployment, and throughout the product life cycle. Given my extensive experience on the development side of the house, I was uniquely qualified to bridge the gap between business and technology people.I spent a great deal of time as a technical and business architect. I was the product owner on a multi-million dollar software system and manager of the product owners on several other large systems.

I'm the lead developer on a variety of new solutions that cross our entire enterprise. Using an agile approach to software development we take client requirements, determine what software development platform is best, create and maintain schedules, code, test and deploy solutions. I perform day to day management of project schedules in Microsoft Project to present management with current state of project. I schedule meetings, mitigate philosophical debates on project requirements and in general do whatever is necessary to keep the project running smoothly.In addition to project management I'm responsible for determining software architecture. I test and recommend approaches to software development within our division. I also do most of the ground breaking development and first runs of new technology.
