Scope of works:• Ensured that customer requirements are met in compliance with Quality Management System (QMS), Good Agricultural Practices (GAP), Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Food Safety-HACCP and other statutory and regulatory standards.• Supervised QA personnel deployed in all areas of Fresh Fruit Packing House to ensure that operations will run smoothly.• Ensured that the quality and operational objectives of the department are met and are periodically reviewed and updated. • Ensured that all documented procedures in the department are consistently implemented in all areas of inspection.• Developed standard testing protocols for the various microbiological tests needed for the validation and verification of the Food Safety Program in the packing house.• Ensured timely releasing of laboratory analyses to the concerned department for the successful implementation of standard practices and development of appropriate control measures.• Ensured that all validation and verification tests are conducted according to the planned interval/ schedule of each program.• Assisted the Agricultural Research department in verifying the efficacy of the post-harvest chemicals applied to pineapples.• In charge of handling the QA Microbiology laboratory.
