Focused on data driven process improvements, system reliability efforts, modernization, and Site Reliability Engineering. Accountable for end-to-end production support for 300+ SVB Commercial & Private Banking applications.

Focused on Next Generation Digital capabilities, such as Enterprise Personalization, Augmented Reality, and Distributed Experiences. Heavy emphasis on technical excellence and business value as we explored the features that would elevate the experience for USAA membership.

Led the Emerging Technologies team who focused on exploring the next best platform on which to deploy the USAA experience. This included significant efforts in Virtual Reality, Augmented Reality, Mobile Pay, Apple/Android TV, Apple Watch, and Android Wear. Additionally drove efforts to explore Machine Learning and cloud platforms (primarily AWS) in support of the next generation of experiences.

Relocated to Plano, TX to open new software development center for USAA. Continued in previous role as technical lead in the enterprise space while participating in activities to grow the Plano office: interviews, onboarding, culture shaping, growth planning, etc. My initial group of 20 employees grew to ~1000 employees in the office, while keeping the same dedication the the USAA mission without compromise on time or quality.

Moved into a Software development role with a focus in front end tech (JS/CSS) and back end (JEE). This included both external customer facing through web view implementations in USAA native containers and internal customer facing through USAA CRM development. Acted as Technical Lead for geographically dispersed project teams in a challenging enterprise area.

Started in the Operations organization as a Capacity and Performance Analyst. Spent time trending server usage to develop refresh timelines using advanced statistical analysis and processes. Analyzed website response time performance and made recommendations to application teams on performance improvement opportunities.
