About Jerry Rollins

Release date October 1, 2020.I'm the Co-Founder and Chairman of the Sage Executive Group, a peer advisory group that helps CEOs, founders and executives achieve all round success by positively impacting their business, families and communities. The Group's core philosophy in working with top executives is emphasizing strong values, encouraging business leaders to put people before profits and learning to effectively balance business demands and responsibilities to family, community and health. Sage was born out of my vision to provide a reliable platform for decision-makers to come together and connect with like-minded professionals to collaborate, learn and solve the most pressing issues. Based on a holistic approach to the development and eventual success of CEOs and business leaders, I wanted to provide them the knowledge and resources to excel in all areas of their lives. I believe that it is this well-balanced approach to servant leadership, one that combines strong values, ethics and high integrity helps sustain long term business success. My desire to coach and be coached started during my time as a professional hockey player for the World Hockey Association. Many of the values I developed as a professional athlete like focus, determination, perseverance and team work have carried over to my business career. When I made the transition to a corporate career, these values helped me thrive in a highly competitive, results driven industry and provided me the motivation to achieve specific goals. Over the past 30 years, I have served as the CEO and Advisory Board member of multiple organizations and helped execute rapid market turnarounds, build top performance sales teams, accelerate revenues and implement highly successful exit strategies for founders. When not coaching executives, I enjoy reading and read two to three books a week. I also love cooking dinner for my wife. Staying fit and healthy is important to me and I walk 6 miles everyday.

Each group offers a scholarship to a member who leads a nonprofit organization in the local area. As partner I put together a strategic plan, helped raise capital, brought on a reliable team and increased revenues from $5 million to $10 million within 3 years. Later I followed up with the merger of the company with Advanced Office Services, clocking $20 million in annual revenues.     I started playing professional hockey with the World Hockey Association (WHA) for teams in Toronto, Phoenix, Detroit (NHL) and Indianapolis. At that time the WHA had its presence all over North America. Playing hockey allowed me to face my fears playing the position of an enforcer in the team. This also led to me to develop mental and physical strength, self confidence and focus on the job at hand. The World Hockey Association was a professional ice hockey major league that operated in North America from 1972 to 1979.
