Managed service delivery of contact center software targeted at telephone company operator services. The software product was licensed to multiple telephone companies.• Identified and implemented software configuration changes to better predict the number of operators required to provide adequate service, ultimately reducing the number of staff scheduled to provide the service.• Managed the deployment of new hardware, the installation and configuration of the software allowing the customer manage and monitor a new operator workforce acquired from another company.• Designed and deployed enhanced functionality which improved software usability when managing small work forces.• Designed and deployed enhanced functionality that reduced the time to adjust schedules as a result of changes to the initial schedule saving the customer 25 hours of effort per week.• Coordinated the migration of the application and related data to new hardware for an existing customer. Since the customer runs in a 24X7 operation, the effort was completed in a manner that required a minimum amount of application down time and with no loss of real time data during the transition.

• Managed the technology team that kept the application current with changing versions of third party software such as Informix and Java. Ensured the application remained backwards compatible for all customers resulting in fewer issues associated with software updates.• Oversaw the change of the distribution of the Java front end to use JNLP improving the reliability of the update process.• Coordinated the migration of the HP-UX and Windows development and test systems from a local data center to a regional data center when the St. Louis office was closed. The migration was completed with minimum impact on the support and development initiatives that were in progress at the time of the migration.• Performed system administration for the HP-UX and windows servers in the regional data center eliminating the need to for a system administrator with knowledge of the unique requirements of the application and it related development environment.

• Created an interface to a telephone company operator services switch that incorporated the real-time data about calls into the call center management product licensed by the customer. Using existing application infrastructure the new interface was delivered at a significantly lower cost and on a reduced timeline.• Revised the software distribution practices to a release/patch schedule reducing the effort required to deliver the updates while making the update process more predictable for the customer.• Managed the deployment of software and system configuration that allowed the customer to reduce the number of servers required to manage the operators of two subsidiaries from four to two.
