Part of the Leadership Team, works directly with the the Chief Executive Officer and has primary day-to-day responsibility for planning, implementing, managing and controlling all financial-related activities for the organization. Key responsibilities: manage financial deliverables and the finance department staff, ensure all fiscal reporting activities are conducted in a timely manner, work in conjunction with the CEO on financial analysis and planning, including but not limited to monthly financial analysis of business segment performance, annual operating budgets, forecasts, projections and long-term financial analysis, oversee the treasury process, manage contracts, leases and other administrative responsibilities. In addition, act as liaison to insurance companies, attorneys, and external human resources contracting agency.

Responsible for directing the operations of Lippes Mathias Wexler Friedman LLP. This includes, but is not limited to, oversight of all major operating functions, including; Human Resources, Finance & Accounting, Information Technology, Marketing, General Operations, Employee Relations, etc. Also collaborates with the Executive Committee on a regular basis and as part of that collaboration, assists in setting and executing strategic initiatives and goals of the firm.Human Resources – Responsible for establishing and maintaining all HR policies and procedures of the firm. Manage overall staffing levels to ensure firm is adequately staffed, including coordinating all staff hiring and executing the separation process. Coordinate the annual performance evaluation process for associates and staff. Quickly respond to and resolve any HR issues that arise. Manage the firm’s benefits package; ensure benefit offerings are competitive and maximize value for employeesFinance & Accounting – Create and manage the annual firm operating budget with detailed budget support behind significant P&L line items (such as revenue by attorney and payroll by associate and staff). Report high level financial performance and variance commentary to all partners on a monthly basis. Review detailed financial package prepared by bookkeeper on a monthly basis and report results to the Executive Committee. Ad hoc financial analysis, including; billing and collection realization analysis (at the firm and individual client levels), profitability analysis, pro-forma financial statement preparation for potential mergers or acquisitions, cash-flow review and analysis, client financial support, etc. Prepares annual 1065 firm tax return, including year-end journal entries and work paper support.

Worked closely with the CEO and CFO to provide accurate and timely finance information and assists in maximizing returns on financial assets by establishing financial policies, procedures, controls and reporting systems. Mr. Wohlleber was responsible for overseeing all financial transactions of the companies. He participated in the strategic discussions of new business ventures and opportunities to accelerate growth of the company's core business.Responsible for the management of the company's internal control systems. He acutely monitored and confirmed financial condition by conducting internal reviews and providing information to external auditors/accountants. He also managed the activities of the tax compliance department.Prior to joining the group, pent over 10 years in public accounting. He obtained a broad background in the manufacturing, construction, wholesale, and general service industries. He managed and supervised the preparation of financial statements and corporate tax returns in a broad range of industry formats including consolidations. He has an extensive background in tax planning, working with closely held businesses, S-Corporations, partnerships and limited liability companies. Along with corporate tax returns, prepared and reviewed personal tax returns for high net worth individuals and business owners. In addition, worked on forensic accounting engagements where fraud and embezzlement have occurred.
