The automated CI and built-in redundant AWS-based architecture, along with the test-driven development, enabled the platform to easily surpass the standard 5-9's (99.999%) up-time threshold while ensuring PII and PCI/DSS security standards were met. Worked directly with Visa, MasterCard, and banks to develop the first large-scale EMV-chip and tap credit card solution in North America (at that time), consisting of tens of thousands of restaurants, easily achieving this before the card industry-mandated EMV-chip rollout deadline.
