Green in the Blue is focused on addressing the critical challenges of sustainable development in the Global South. Green in the Blue has undertaken extensive and various sustainability-driven projects in the fields of Sustainable Development, Livelihoods Improvement, Natural Resources Management, Sustainable Energy and Environmental and Social Impact across Southeast Asia. Our team of consultants have delivered on a multitude of projects in the region for a range of INGOs, private sector, and development agencies, by applying technical and sound problem-solving approaches to link all three pillars of sustainability to development programs in Southeast Asia.

Regional Sustainable Energy Coordinator for WWF and H&M Group, supporting on the uptake of clean energy solutions for the garments sector and beyond. Responsible for liaising with private and public sector actors in the energy sector to create partnerships for clean energy development in the targeted countries of Cambodia, Myanmar, and Vietnam. Also work on drafting policy briefs and conducting stakeholder workshops to disseminate key information on sustainable energy for the industrial sector.Provide technical support on the installation of solar-PV solutions in H&M Group’s supplier factories, and support the sustainable energy advocacy portfolio by building partnerships with relevant government ministries. Collaborate with local and international developers to develop a pipeline of non-hydro renewable energy projects; lead the monitoring and evaluation of the program’s implementation in the targeted countries; and design, plan, and execute internal and external communication strategies to ensure continued coverage on promoting sustainable energy solutions.

Managed the EUR 2.5 million funded SWITCH to Solar program in Cambodia, through the European Union SWITCH-Asia Network. Managed the program along with other clean energy and sustainable livelihood projects in the country, while simultaneously supporting on proposal developments, donor relationships, and reporting.

Provided independent consulting services on a contractual basis on programs focusing on water conservation, clean energy, climate change adaptation and resilience, social impact, and environmental resources management. Clients worked for include WaterAid, The Economist Impact, iDE (International Development Enterprises), WWF, and Microsoft.

Supported on the curation of case studies for small hydropower programs implemented in Africa, Asia, and South America. Developed case study content highlighting aspects of economic empowerment, renewable energy (RE) development, and social well-being and improvement for poor communities in developing countries. Program was aimed at supporting UNIDO on enhancing their agenda for small hydropower development in developing countries, as part of clean energy development as an alternative to large-scale hydropower dams.Co-authored the WSHPDR 2019 Report.

Managed various projects globally, for the US-based water and wastewater infrastructure consulting firm. Utilized complex acoustical sensing software to analyze structural integrity of underground pipelines, model data using Python programming, and overlay results through GIS and Google Earth, in order to map out pipeline ruptures, leaks, and gas pockets.

Managed the research and development of innovative recycled rubber products for a global rubber recycling and product manufacturing facility. Developed energy efficiency (EE) practices in the building, through SOPs and LEED principles, and facilitated the development of energy savings practices in manufacturing processes.

Managed all QA/QC processes for an on-time manufacturing facility. Monitored and supervised production lines for adherence to international quality standards, including ISO 9001, ISO 14001, BIFMA e3, and others.
