During my life, I have migrated to a new country, learned a second language as an adult, and started a company while raising a family. Being put in these situations I learned to appreciate the importance of doing the right thing like protecting the environment, treating people with respect, maintaining safe workplaces, and creating value for shareholders. I have become a leader and strategist who believes in having empathy toward those around me and empowering them to decide by themselves. As part of this continuous process of transformation, I developed the capacity to actively listen to others, and understand situations and issues. I would come up with simple, understandable, and cost-effective solutions. Many times, the solution to our issues is found when we share and talk in an honest way about them.An essential part of myself is my family, I try to spend most of my free time in the comfort of our house. Our home is a place where arts, mathematics, science, gaming, cooking, baking, sports, and idleness collide in chaotic and harmonious ways. However, I reflect and recharge spiritually in the vastness and emptiness of the Rocky Mountains. I say fishing is not about catching a fish, nor biking is about coming down trails fast, it is about being mindful and present without the distraction of day-to-day noise. It is the opportunity to check on my values, my evolution as a person and a member of the community, and how I can accomplish my goals by moving forward.
