Our team owns features such as Key management, User & Certificate management, Authentication, SSL, and Licensing for ONTAP. Security:•Design and build ONTAP's first onboard key management solution in a multi person team. The feature utilizes a key hierarchy approach that supports multi-tenancy, backup/recovery, HA/Metro-Cluster, and 3rd party key servers (via KMIP). The feature is highly visible to ensure NetApp's competitive edge in the storage encryption market.•Lead and provide feedback as senior member of the team in the areas of authentication, certificate management, and other features.Licensing:•Lead the team that develops NetApp's next-gen licensing solution for the Cloud (AWS, Azure) and Virtual environments. Evolved NetApp's licensing from a key-based to a text-based (signed JSON) format that can support various models (capacity/subscription) with potential for in-product activation in the future. This added significant flexibility to NetApp's business model for new market entry while maintaining compatibility with the backend.•Lead technical discussions with cross functional teams including ProdOps, IT, Manufacturing, and Field Support, to ensure a smooth end to end product delivery.
