About Jessica C. Coronado, Mpl

On behalf of the United States Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, I serve as the Director of Operations and Liaison to the national board of directors. On a daily basis, I support and promote the economic growth, development, and interests of more than 5 million Hispanic-owned businesses in America and over 260 Hispanic Chambers of Commerce in the United States. Prior, I coordinated the submittal of more than $70 million in opportunities under the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act (IIJA) from President Biden providing funds to invest in projects of national or regional significance especially in areas of persistent poverty and historically disadvantaged communities.Previously, I served as Chief of Staff for Austin City Councilmember Vanessa Fuentes representing the needs of District 2 through policy development, execution of communication strategies, community coordination, and information and project management. As the Chief of Staff for a fast-paced office of an elected official, I regularly provided guidance and support for a high volume of policies that impact the operations of City Council and the City of Austin enterprise while leading a task-oriented and responsive team. This experience complemented my years with the US State Department and the US Agency for International Development in Latin America. Following my time in Latin America, I served as the Chief Administrative Officer for the San Antonio Hispanic Chamber of Commerce. My extensive experience in public service, strategic planning, community engagement and policy development enables me to leverage data and community insight to successfully recommend, implement and provide product delivery and project management. In my spare time, I have served as the Chapter Chair of the Hispanic Women’s Network of Texas-Austin Chapter where we aim to empower Latinas in all areas of life in addition to providing scholarships to first-gen high school Latinas.
