I am a proud member of the Robocon Team 2025, where we are tasked with designing and constructing two innovative robots inspired by a basketball theme. Our goal is to develop robots capable of participating in a dynamic basketball tournament, showcasing precision, strategy, and teamwork. This exciting competition will be held in Mongolia in 2025, providing an opportunity for us to test our technical skills, creativity, and collaborative spirit on an international stage. Through this experience, we aim to push the boundaries of robotics engineering and achieve excellence in the world of competitive robotics.

As a Mechanical Engineering intern at Fiji Airways, I gained hands-on experience in both technical services and aircraft maintenance. During the first two weeks in the Technical Services department, I focused on office work, organizing, and documenting technical logs for the aircraft fleet, ensuring compliance and accurate record-keeping. The following two weeks were spent in the Wheel and Tyre Repair Shop, where I assisted in the overhaul and tire changes for Airbus A350, A330, and Boeing 737 Max 8 aircraft wheels, learning valuable skills in aircraft maintenance and repair processes. This internship provided a balanced experience between administrative and practical technical tasks.

As an intern in the Generation Department at Energy Fiji Limited (EFL), I had the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the operation and maintenance of generator sets, including the KTA 50 models. Working alongside the technical team, I was actively involved in carrying out 250-hour maintenance procedures, fault inspections, and routine operational checks. These tasks required attention to detail, adherence to safety protocols, and a methodical approach to problem-solving.In addition to technical responsibilities, I also learned the importance of record-keeping and documentation. I assisted in maintaining accurate records of maintenance activities, fault reports, and system updates, which are essential for tracking equipment performance and ensuring compliance with industry standards. This experience provided me with a comprehensive understanding of generator system operations, enhanced my technical skills, and strengthened my ability to work effectively as part of a collaborative engineering team.
