My responsibilities include, amongst other:● Lead and facilitate meetings with clients;● Identify new business opportunities and build strong relationships;● Generate professional system requirements;● Collect and process information to develop, recommend and implement relevant solutions;● Promote and support the implementation of Xero Accounting software and other cloud-based solutions;● Migrate clients from traditional accounting packages to new systems;● Provide recommendations and interpret financial/economic information with the aim of facilitating informed decision-making;● Successfully manage multiple projects;● Advise clients on current best practices and new developments;● Mentor and coach stakeholders on process- and system functionality;● Improve internal processes;●Facilitate psychometric assessments as a part of a recruitment and selection process, or as part of a Management Coaching service.

In 2020 I had the privilege of engaging with FHBC as an independent consultant on a project regarding performance management. The project entailed:*Re-designing the performance management process;*Utilising statistical procedures to evaluate the verity of the presented data;*Drawing strategic insights regarding company performance and presenting these insights (together with suggestions for organisational optimisation) to the board of Directors.This project culminated in an offer for permanent employment as practice manager. The role of practice manager entails (amongst other):*Evaluating current processes and procedures to ensure: (i) Improved efficiency in several spheres; (ii) Secure, stabile performance of Information Technology systems and; (iii) Increased staff engagement. These aims were supported by:*Managing the performance management process and drafting individual reports to facilitate feedback to members of staff;*Performing psychometric assessments (internally and for clients) to support (amongst other) recruitment and selection of staff based on cultural fit;*Reviewing staff-related productivity data and creating alternative report templates to enable real-time evaluation of data;*Performing correlational studies of past data to improve accuracy of annual turn-over projections;*Heading up a pilot project to assess the viability of an updated remote-work agreement for selected members of staff;*Heading up a project to renew IT infrastructure (including, but not limited to): - Server hardware and -software, - Advocating and supporting the increased adoption and utilisation of cloud-based software, - Streamline software registration process for selected products, - Physical hardware changes to improve computer efficiency,*Contracting with external IT service provider(s) to initiate new service level agreements;*Overseeing the implementation of a VOIP telephonic change-over;*Other ad-hoc tasks.
