PurposeThe aim off the project was to create a computer-based lifestyle assessment tool with prompt feedback to the individual pupil, the teacher and to the school leadership.ConclusionUsing the computer-based model a discrepancy between health knowledge and health behavior, especially in the field of nutrition, was observed. It may be expected that both direct feedback and structural changes in the method of teaching lifestyle topics may counteract this finding and thus contribute to a better start in life and lower cardiovascular risk.
