Through the years I have had a variety of roles, with one common denominator - building great digital experiences. I have managed teams and departments consisting of designers, UXers, researchers, front-/backend developers etc.As a professional I am passionate about building evidence–driven user experiences. Identifying real user problems, validating solutions through testing and experiments and finally measuring the real impact to user and business. As a leader i believe that strong teams are built on trust - and that trust has to be earned again and again by being there for your team. My leadership style is situational - meeting people on their individual level - helping them to reach their specific potential. As head of UX & Design I had the responsibility for the user experience and design of all digital platforms. The department consisted of 8 people, covering 3 distinct areas: UX, UX research and Design. My main responsibilities were to:(1) Set strategic direction and vision for UX and design within the organization and ensure that the strategy was operationalised in how we worked and firmly communicated across all layers of the organization.(2) nurture strong collaboration with the product/development teams.
