I am a dynamic and passionate professional, and as an experienced CEO, CFO and Finance Manager in mainly public listed companies (Nasdaq Copenhagen A/S), I have more than 20 years’ experience within sports management, general management, project management, financial management and public affairs relations.I have built strong relations during my 10 years in Brøndby IF with many employees in a period with many changes and a lot of pressure on the organization. I have received many compliments for my skills as a leader during this period. I am specially honored about this, since employees in my view, is the most valuable assets in any organization.As part of the Management of Brøndby IF, I have contributed to a turnaround process where Brøndby IF once again is competing in the top of the Danish Superliga and where the turnover from 2013 to 2018 is increased with 60% and the financial result improved in 2018 to the best result for more than 10 years.As the CEO of Volleyball Danmark since March 2020, I have contributed to secure the economy during Covid19, meaning the Federation now has a positive and solid equity and no debt, where the Federation had a negative equity and debt when I started. On top of that we have again a strong and confident cooperation with our clubs and club members, which in May 2021 at the Board of Representatives (Clubs), resulted in:• New and updated articles of association, with good governance among others in relation to votes, competence relations etc.• A new and more simple “contribution” model in relation to the payments from members and clubs to Volleyball Danmark, and a model where the contribution was reduced with appr. 5%• A new Strategy, with a new vision, a new mission and 5 focus areas. I have worked with Corporate Strategy & Business Development, Financial Management, Controlling & Reporting, Investor Relations, Process innovation and Organizational Change, and I have gained strategical and managerial experience, capable of managing many different operational aspects. On top of that a have worked with many stakeholders, primarily former owners, current owners, potential owners, board(s), lenders, volunteers, employees, fans, sponsors and the media. In addition, I have worked closely with competing clubs to promote a positive development for Danish football and Brøndby IF.I hold a MSc.
