The range of my experience includes private practice as a solicitor, both in Europe and Australia, and shipping association and government work. I have acted as consultant to the United Nations International Maritime Organization (IMO); adviser to the International Chamber of Shipping; national EU and WTO/GATT negotiator; and lecturer for the A.P. Møller Mærsk Group.Best LawyersTM Australia 2021 named me Lawyer of the Year in Sydney for Shipping and Maritime Law. I am listed in Band 1 for Shipping in Chambers Asia-Pacific 2020, Doyle’s Guide 2020 (as a Recommended lawyer for Shipping & Maritime Law), in Who’s Who Legal — Australia for Shipping 2020, and in the International Trade and Shipping Expert Guide 2020 (as a leading lawyer in the field of shipping).
