In Scandlines commercial division this new position have been create to optimize our business across countries including larger contracts and project.

Scandlines Roster Management is making shiftplanning for all parts of Scandlines approx. 1.500 employees using the tool Quinyx Workforce Management.This department was created in March 2019 and is under development but should be completely implemented before the summer holiday.The department have 9 planners working with both longterm and shortterm planning for all groups i.e. 3F, HK, Søfartens ledere, Metal Søfart etc.

As a commercial project manager, I am responsible for bigger refits, rebuilds, modifications and new builds that concerns our retail and catering business.I have been involved in the new building project for the Gedser-Rostock route since the beginning of the project, which are currently being completed in Fayard, Odense. I am responsible for coordinating the wishes and needs from our commercial departments with our architects and consultants as well as our technical department with the aim to optimize the passenger and crew accommodation and make the arrangement as efficient and ergonomic as possible.Meanwhile I have also been the project manager for the conversions done over the last few years on the 4 vessels on our other route between Rodby and Puttgarden with upgrading our catering outlets and retail areas. As in the new building, I have been responsible for coordinating the wishes and needs from our commercial departments with our architects and consultants as well as our technical department. Furthermore I have managed and driven the process of making the specification, the tender and choosing the supplier. Finally I have worked with the chosen supplier to finalize the project as well as supervisor the final work. All these project have been in the range of value from 50.000€ to 2.000.000 €.

As project manager I have been assigned to head our Manning office in Scandlines in a limited period to oversee the implementation of workforce management.Scandlines Manning office is planning the workforce in our catering and retail departments onboard our 4 Danish vessels as well as ashore for about 600 employees using Quinyx WFM.
