As the Department Student Assistant, Outreach and Recruitment I am in charge of Outreach and Recruitment for the Earth and Environmental Sciences Department, I take the lead in organizing and managing outreach initiatives to engage prospective students and the broader community. I work directly with the Division Chair, Dr. Mara Brady, to strategize and implement recruitment efforts, including coordinating student orientations, workshops, and informational events that promote the department's programs.I also spearhead the creation of promotional materials and manage digital and print media campaigns to ensure clear and impactful communication with prospective students. In addition, I oversee the department’s outreach events, handling logistical planning, and engaging with various stakeholders to facilitate successful outcomes.My role involves maintaining the department’s recruitment database, tracking engagement metrics, and generating reports that inform future outreach strategies. I serve as a primary contact for prospective students, providing them with information about the department’s offerings and guiding them through the recruitment process. While supporting the overall goals of the department, I ensure that our outreach and recruitment efforts are effective, innovative, and aligned with the department's objectives.

As a Board Advisor at Visalia United Football Club, I play a crucial role in guiding the organization's strategic decision-making processes. Drawing on my extensive experience within the club, where I have served as Assistant Team Director, Team Director, and Interim Finance Director, I provide invaluable insights and advice on key decisions that shape the club's future. While my current role is advisory, my deep understanding of the club's operations and finances, combined with my commitment to its success, ensures that I remain a trusted and integral part of the leadership team. This at-will position allows me to continue contributing to the club's growth and development even after relocating to Fresno, California.

In this position I oversee the financial operations of the soccer league during the transition period. I also manage financial planning, risk management, record-keeping, and reporting.Another one of duties is to develop and implement financial strategies to support the league's goals and objectives. I also must communicate with investors (League Sponsors), auditors, regulatory bodies, and other key stakeholders (President and Vice President).I must also ensure compliance with financial regulations and oversee the financial departments. Last but not least I have to address immediate financial issues to the president and vice president, and then provide stability and expertise during organizational change.I am currently only interim Financial Director, I will be providing my services for Visalia United as Financial Director until Friday, August 16 of 2024.

As a Team Director in a soccer league, I play a crucial role in supporting the team's success.
