To organise activities to raise funds and gain publicity for the Mary Ann Evans Hospice. My responsibilities included:* Developing, organising, planning and promoting a range of fundraising events.* Reviewing and sourcing the venues where the event is to be held.* Social media marketing via all media platforms for fundraising events and the Hospice in general* Creating promotional material for the events and Hospice using Adobe software & distributing it to the target audience.* Writing press releases and sending out to local media contacts.* Attending cheque collections organised by community and corporate supporters* Processing donations and updating the database.* Obtaining sponsorship from corporate supporters for events.* Regularly updating the company website using WordPress* Preparing and managing budgets for the events.* Post event tasks including managing evaluation of event debriefings and thank you letters.* Taking bookings for events & sending out written confirmation.* Regularly attending network meetings to establish relationships with local businesses.
