About Jessica Geiger
As part of the facilities and operations team for the District Attorney, I enjoy being part of a diverse and dedicated department. As the facilities manager, I have played a critical role in transitioning from the Hall of Justice to 350 Rhode Island. My Performance Plan and Appraisal Reports reflect that I have gone above and beyond my responsibilities, always willing and able to take on additional duties to ensure successful results. Working directly with the senior staff has demonstrated my diverse leadership, operations, and project management skills. Stakeholders, colleagues, and peers contributing to my reviews reflect that I exceed overall performance, dedication, and initiative expectations. In 2017 I received a certificate of honor for outstanding performance from DA Gascon and was named Outstanding Support Person in 2019.Covid-19 brought about challenges our office and the country has never seen. I dedicated myself to coming into the office every day while people were furloughed and working from home to make the necessary adjustments to our office environment to keep our employees safe. I made considerable efforts to ensure our office adhered to the everchanging guidelines communicated through the CDC, OSHA, state, and local government agencies concerning social distancing, signage, employee, PPE procurement, and distribution. I helped write and enforce COVID protocols. I helped create and implement new office safety procedures and standards in our three office locations. I initiated COVID cleaning protocols when COVID contact tracing dictated exposure to our in-house staff staying after hours to monitor the cleaning by vendors. I also manage our PPE procurement and supplies. My organizational skills are impeccable and efficiency drives me. I am a leader, a communicator, a hard worker, and a loyal employee. I have a reputation for getting things done and working well with others. I believe that working in a leadership role should be collaborative and productive.
