Leading the delivery of Brent Integrated Care transformation priorities, using the local Sustainability Transformation Plan (STP) and Better Care Fund (BCF) programmes as a vehicle to achieve service transformation and integration. Responsible for planning, leading and implementing designated STP work-streams (Prevention and Central Middlesex Hospital) and ensure they are delivered on time. This involves close and ongoing liaison with the work stream leads, the programme delivery board, heads of service, assistant directors, lead commissioners, providers and team managers to help design the programme of work and lead on the planning of various delivery stages of strategically important STP work streams. Additionally, leading and co-ordinating the activities of a dedicated projects including BCF schemes through the delivery stages including planning, delivery and monitoring of work-streams; designing and managing implementation schedules; managing operational activity on a daily basis, engaging directly with providers in the local market place and key stakeholders and developing these relationships, developing performance dashboards, and ultimately taking a dual role in managing and delivering the programme.

Engage healthcare professionals and commissioners across the UK and beyond to identify examples of replicable good practice and innovation. Work with NHS partners and internal colleagues to coproduce a collection of practical resources and tools to drive improvement in diabetes services. Develop a range of communication channels to promote and disseminate resources and tools across the NHS in England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland. Build networks of people to facilitate the sharing of learning and ideas across the NHS, building on existing networks and identifying opportunities to develop new ones. Help those driving improvement in the NHS to identify programmes of funding and support to develop and scale up their good practice and innovative ideas

Lead the development and management of a £4 million service improvement programme by working in partnership with healthcare professionals, CCGs, CSUs and Trusts; lead engagement with all funded projects and health professionals; and identify strategic opportunities to share identified good practice and lessons.

Lead and provide strategic support and advice to the team to maximise the impact of their communications and engagement activities. Develop the Volunteering Team's first social media strategy.

Lead the development, delivery and evaluation of projects relating to the Unit’s strategy; identify and harness opportunities to promote the impact of volunteering; work in partnership with commissioned sites to effectively manage Australia’s largest Timebanking trial which was successful and rolled out to other sites.
