I was formally trained psychodynamically, however tend to be relationally oriented and integrate other elements of modalities such as CBT, Feminist Psychology and Narrative Therapy. I believe when it comes to finding a therapist, it is crucial to find someone that truly makes you feel seen, understood and like you are not alone. Stylistically I put a primary concentration on the relationship between client and therapist, while fostering a climate of collaboration, support and greater self-awareness. I tend to infuse insight, a sense of humor and interventions tailored to each unique and specific individual’s needs. I strives to help clients understand and cease unhealthy patterns playing out in relationships, work or other areas of life. - Provide psychotherapy to individuals, couples, children, adults and seniors in a low-fee sliding scale community mental health setting- Engage in weekly staff meetings and trainings pertaining to clinically relevant topics such as anger management, traumatic grief and interventions via multiple modalities- Collaborate and engage with supervisors and peers in weekly supervision and ongoing peer consultation- Maintain comprehensive client files, progress notes and well versed with client assessments, case conceptualizations, therapeutic interventions and treatment plans

- Provide LGBT-Affirmative psychotherapy to LGBTQIA+ children, adolescents, adults, couples, groups and families- Specialize in LGBT-Affirmative psychodynamic therapy surrounding gender and life transitions, coming out, relationships, depression, anxiety, self-esteem, trauma and other life issues- Created, implemented and facilitate first and only group at this training site- Proactively train incoming therapists on protocol, paperwork and provide peer guidance on therapeutic process- Engage in monthly LGBT specific trainings, as well as community outreach events to promote awareness of LGBTQIA+ mental health services and well-being
