About Jess Jacobs
Hi there! I'm Jess and I am currently working in Kuparuk on the North Slope of Alaska as a mud engineer. I completed my bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering at the University of Alaska Fairbanks, go Nooks! Currently, I work all across the Kuparuk field as a fluids engineer for coiled tubing drilling operations, working on one of the very few coiled drilling rigs in the world. In the near future, I would love to continue my career while expanding to experience reservoir and completions design, and also learn about subsurface geological mapping. Overall, I am a hardworking and dedicated engineer with a passion for knowledge and a natural curiosity for how things work!It is not all work for me though. In my off time, I enjoy cooking, working out, hiking, skiing, and taking a break to play with my adorable cat, Mocha.
