I often get introduced as “this is Jessica; she loves to ask questions and tell jokes.” (Spanish and English) As a Human Resource Professional, my concentrations are processes, people, and data. I analyze and provide relevant data points to my recruiters to create an effective Recruitment and Retention process. I am passionate about configuring and improving the Candidate Experience and creating automated processes for system users. I led the project to implement a new Talent Acquisition tech stack with iCIMS and Data Facts products that streamlined the hiring process. This significantly sped up the application completion process and increased the application completion rate. I have experience maintaining the workforce in compliance with Department of Transportation Regulations, processing applicants through the talent funnel, and maintaining accurate and sensitive HR data. However, my favorite task is being the System admin of our TA tech stack. In my downtime, I love hearing and telling jokes. The eye roll response is what I enjoy the most. You can always find me on a hiking trail on a lovely sunny day. I end up, one way or another, finding out ways how to stay active on those cold and gloomy days.
