These projects have included, reviewing the progress of financial inclusion in South Africa, developing a strategy for a Kenyan bank to enter the MSME market, and exploring how retail deposits can be extended as a source of long-term funding in the Ugandan housing finance market. More recently, I have led country missions to Uganda, Botswana and Namibia, where the Genesis team reviewed the retail and corporate banking sector for a banking client.
