Temporary Power Services has been designing and implementing temporary electrical systems for construction projects across Utah and Idaho. We have the experience and expertise to suit any construction project’s needs. Our clients range from small-scale residential builders to large-scale commercial or civil engineering projects. Our engineers are always ready to deliver timely temporary power solutions, with the capability of providing anywhere from 120 to 33,000 volts.I successfully exited the business in 2023.

As CEO of Auric Energy, I focused my efforts on driving performance in 3 areas that I had the most experience and talent as a leader: Customer experience, revenue growth, and marketing/branding.Customer Experience: Improved customer experience by implementing Net Promoter Score (NPS), allowing us to make corrections in customer experience during the process instead of finding out afterward where we missed (proactive vs. reactive). Results: Auric's NPS score was typically 50%+ (industry-leading) and surged to 80%+ (world-class) within 6 months of implementation. This ultimately resulted in having the most positive online reviews of any solar installer in the U.S., which became the foundation of our marketing and reputation, thus contributing to higher close rates that doubled that same year.Revenue Growth: Engineered explosive annual revenue growth by creating strategic partnerships/attracting top talent, opening new markets, and adding additional revenue streams.Results: Revenue grew from $12M (2016) to $53M (2019), which enabled us to win INC5000 Fastest Growing Companies in America 4 years in a row (2015 - #246, 2016 - #262, 2017 - #541, 2018 - #1521) as well as Utah's Fastest-Growing Companies based on revenue 3 years in a row. (2016 – 4th, 2017 – 15th, 2018 – 20th)Branding/Marketing: Created positive media coverage as the company's public face by implementing an outward-focused strategic partnership process. Launched a community involvement program that included significant solar power donations by collaborating and raising money with the local utility.Results: Auric became the most recognized brand in the region, winning multiple best of state and other local market awards, which created opportunities with new partners. One example being Sonnen battery, which we partnered with to develop Soleil Lofts ($27M project) and other significant solar + battery developments that are in progress.
