I tutored a 20-month old Korean child in English in bi-weekly play-based sessions that emphasised learning English in a fun and relaxed environment.

I worked with a team of student representatives to organise, promote and run student wellbeing events and schemes. I assisted in recruiting professionals outside of the university for our events, co-running regular events (such as a weekly virtual ‘Wellbeing Cafe’) and contributing to and editing our weekly newsletter. I also helped run our social media accounts on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter; creating promotional materials, ensuring regular posting, and responding to enquiries made via social media.

I ran two English language conversation classes through the Language Zone at the University of Leeds. This included planning and running lessons, and collecting student feedback.My first class (January-May 2020) consisted of ten students aged 22-31 from Peru, China and Saudi Arabia. This class occurred both in person and online.My second class (October - December 2020) consisted of five students aged 20-25 from China and Italy. This class occurred online.

I worked with a team of interns to plan, organise, promote and run student enhancement events and workshops. These events and workshops were designed to help students develop skills relevant to both academia and future employment. Some of my responsibilities in this role were: organising and taking minutes at weekly meetings to track progress and plan for future events, liaising with senior staff from across the university, and maintaining communication between the interns, supervisors and professionals involved in running events.I also created feedback forms and analysed the data from them in order to make recommendations for future events.
