In my role as a Financial Advisor at Island Savings, I help members achieve their financial goals and ultimately financial freedom. I prioritize well, and adhere to strict deadlines with accuracy and timely processing. I have adopted a lean philosophy and have dedicated myself to continuous improvement and willingness to change. I work both independently, but also collaboratively with my team for projects. I strive to make remarkable member experiences with each interaction. I process complex lending deals for mortgages, lines of credit, and personal loans. I provide in depth credit consulting when necessary, and give my members the tools to take ownership of their credit. I am also the Woodgrove “branch champion” for fundraising for the Nanaimo Loaves and Fishes, raising over $3,000 to date for 2018. I have created fundraising initiatives, attended many volunteer events, and play an active role in the improvement of my community’s wellbeing.

As an advisor of personal banking, I assist in personalizing member’s short-term and long-term savings goals. I share my knowledge of financial planning on a daily basis. By the end of the second quarter I had reached 80% of my key performance indicators while working only two days a week. My original referral goals of 2015 had to be increased or they would have been at 340% of their targets. Recently, I have taken a huge part in training new-hires and branch cash management.
