EBAC's hepatitis C testing program is an ER Nurse led program to increase screening and testing of patients for HCV and to connect them with treatment. I was recruited by the program's director to work on a short-term basis as a Nurse Case Manager for this program. In my role, I was able to be a liaison between the emergency room staff and the HCV program’s directors in an effort to improve program knowledge, compliance, and to better understand barriers to program success.
