I am a mission driven, non-profit leader, experienced in guiding organizations through significant change, while staying true to mission, core values, and organizational culture. I utilize holistic, values-based management practices to cultivate positive and inclusive workplaces with open communication, strengths-based staff development, and work-life balance.I am passionate about social, racial, environmental and transformative justice. Prior to working in philanthropy, I worked in restorative justice and environmental sustainability. It was through this work that I came to understand that the many issues facing humanity could only be addressed through justice in all these realms. Supporting the excellent work of non-profits in Vermont is my small piece of this work.Since moving to Vermont in 1998, I worked on farms have been an avid homesteader, and now find joy in gardening, hiking, and observing the natural world. Finding joy and contentment in the outdoors is key to maintaining balance and sustaining passion for my work.
