Current

Sanford, Florida

I am an instructor for the ESOL and Language Institute programs at Seminole State College and have taught all levels and at three campuses. I thoroughly enjoy working side by side with a fantastic team of dedicated and highly qualified teachers with big hearts. I put 100% into creating engaging and interactive lessons designed to motivate students to pursue their own success. My conversations skills in Portuguese and Mandarin have been a big advantage working and speaking with our many Chinese, Brazilian, and even Spanish speakers. I have also enjoyed using my computer skills in the Lab, on Zoom, or many other online sites to tailor activities to sudents' needs, motivate them, and broaden their horizons. I work to help ESOL students understand and prepare for the required CASAS tests and to give them the best possible chance of succeeding. The Seminole State College Language Studies has earned several distinguished awards and commendations during my tenure there--thanks to the hard work and skill of the staff, faculty, and students here.
