• Developed comprehensive college and career counseling program to support our underrepresented minority student population whose distinct personal needs ranged from living below the poverty level to having English as their second language and many who were the first in their family to attend college•Partnered with Posse Foundation, HEOP, and other college access programs to ensure that our mostly first generation Black and Latino student population of over 400 students were given all of necessary resources to be successful in the college application process.

Part-time, temporary role

• Diversified the college counseling process to support the multicultural population of students at this high school in the South Bronx•Achieved unprecedented results among NYC public schools with over 90% of our first two graduating classes applying to and being accepted to college.

• Counseled college-aged students on a wide variety of issues ranging from anxiety and depression to career concerns.

•Administered outreach programs for a diverse population of students in K-12 public, private, and special needs schools in Manhattan, Queens, the Bronx, and Brooklyn.•Directed overnight summer camp for 300 at-risk junior high school students.
